Hello. How are you? Hope you’re well.

Welcome to my website.

Here you can find a collection of my books, some of the videos that I think are cool, as well as some fun little downloads and certificates.

Here are some fun facts about me:

I really love meeting people who are passionate about things; people who can give me a way of seeing the world that I might never have thought of before.

As you can probably guess as someone who loves to celebrate all things international, I love trying food from all around the world. Some of my favourites are: Greek filo parcels; Thai green curry; Ugandan egg chapatis and a lovely Italian tiramisu!

I am a ‘record breaker’. That’s right. The real Guinness Book of Records. I am one of the writers of the screenplay that had the most writers in the world!

I’m always interested in new things, so do feel free to get in touch!

Also, please note that this site contains links to buy my books on Amazon. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Why languages?

People often ask me why the fascination with languages? For me, it’s summed up in the expression ‘They really spoke my language.” We use it when we want to talk about a real sense of connection that we’ve experienced with another person. And that’s what speaking another language can give you: connection.

You don’t need to speak much, even just a few words are enough to light a spark of recognition in someone else and trigger that magical sense of ‘woah, something cool is going on here.’ That’s why all my stories, from The Fabulous Lost and Found to Lingo Dingo are all a bit silly. How often are you going to need to use the phrases ‘I have lost my hat’ or ‘Have a gherkin’? Not much. But how often will someone smile if you say them? All the time!

And now, print on demand technology means that I can bring these books to languages with relatively fewer speakers. That makes me really happy because I want to celebrate that wonderful diversity of languages around the world and make sure that every child has the chance to learn even just a few words of a language that really matters to them.

School visit? Fun speaker? Charity stuff? Special language combinations of my books? Let me know, I’ll help if I can.
